Can we really have a book?

Ironically, before deciding to publish the book in a digital format has contacted the author of many agents literature in two years, trying to get an objective reading, and professional support and services. Although many of the more than one hundred officers responded to their questions, it became clear to the author that officials had not actually read the manuscript gave a thorough and objective. What gives rise to two important questions: 1) What criteria to use agents to read and analyze the legitimate offers 2) If you are read-only small fragments of a manuscript, what actually determining what works for represent the major publishers? Of course, we must admit that literary agents are, first, salespeople, but secondary role to the community inspectors traditional publishing, in general, is also a fact of modern edition. We far from the readers and editors of major publishers who plow the snow melts in the search cell of a hidden treasure or writer next really big. More is left to literary agents, publishers release traditional focus on what is really important: the bottom line.

In reading the comments that many left by this author by other authors (all probably made in the same Catch-22 position Kelly), a comment in particular caught my attention: "Shiny, shiny things, this. If there is no one day own this book, I think deceived! "Wrote the analyst. It seems that only in the company of others is very appreciated – not only for this critique, but also by many others who have read the book online.

My question is: Can we really have a book? Course may purchase a physical copy of most of books – at least those who meet the criteria for literary agents – whatever – and finally published, distributed and sold in bookstores. We all have our shelves filled with favorite books, and we all know what that means to pack in boxes and hauling up and down stairs every time we move. books are numerically different, Of course, because they can be stored in the memory of your computer, or within individual digital playback devices. However, the question of Property pick on me a bit. For authors, the publication of his work – the printed pages between the covers arts – has traditionally been a proud and memorable time, but certainly all the writers admit that all the physical book itself is a worthy trophy, the real value lies between the cover art – not printed pages themselves, but the ideas and insights contained in the words and phrases. actual ownership of these ideas first belongs to the author, and secondly to drive once you've learned considered, and review and the format of how these ideas are borne latter becomes mostly useless. Even the concept of ownership of these ideas – whether by the author or by the player – is blurred when tangibility is considered weak, not to mention ethics. But if you really can own a book, this not true that the real value (or own real leadership) are ideas conveyed by the author and not the means used to convey these ideas.
